Deconstructed Arcs

Some friends and I have participated in a year-long exchange of small (16") fiber pieces. We take inspiration from pieces sent to us, creating our own response which we then send along to others for their creative interpretation.
These photos trace some of my process in composing my piece.

I fiddled with arc sizes and placements first

Final piece with fairly dense stitching. I enjoy the way background contour stitching morphs into smaller diverse shapes.
